Targeting Cu-Au porphyry mineralization by analysis of hyperspectral Prisma and Sentinel-2A Imagery (district-Camp scale mineral mapping)

Dalli Cu-Au porphyry Deposit

This project utilised spaceborne hyperspectral Prisma imagery, featuring a 30 m spatial resolution with 224 narrow spectral bands spanning the VNIR and SWIR ranges. This continuous spectral data was integrated systems analysis to identify highly precise mineral targets for Cu-Au porphyry exploration on a district to camp scale.

Based on the porphyry Cu-Au mineral systems of the area satellite data were processed and mapped favorable hydrothermal alteration minerals and iron oxides clearly showing porphyry zonation; phyllic (muscovite) and argillic (kaolinite) alterations associated with ferric iron oxides in the central part, surrounded by propylitic alteration (chlorite/epidote and carbonate)

Mineral System of the area: Porphyry Cu-Au Mineralization
